Dettori extends championship lead

Frankie Dettori continued to move closer towards regaining his Flat jockeys' crown with a winner at Newmarket on Thursday.
The Italian won aboard 11-8 favourite Sundrop as title rival Kieren Fallon continued his absence after a fall.
Dettori's victory on the 1,000 Guineas runner-up put him 17 clear, with 185 winners to Fallon's 168.
Fallon is due to return to riding at Newmarket on Friday, and has mounts booked at three tracks the next day.
Some bookmakers have already paid out on bets for Dettori, who won the championship in 1994 and 1995, to reclaim the title.
