Frankie Dettori strengthened his grip on the Flat jockeys' championship with a 14-1 double at Windsor on Monday.
The Italian took advantage of rival Kieren Fallon's one-day suspension to stretch his lead over the reigning champion to eight.
Dettori partnered Mark Johnston's Hanseatic League to victory in a maiden and then followed up on the Con Horgan-trained Belle Rouge in the next race.
But Dettori revealed that he is likely to ride at both the Breeders' Cup in the US later this month and the Melbourne Cup in November.
That means he would miss five days of racing, giving Fallon a chance to close the gap.
Darryll Holland was another jockey in form at Windsor, riding a 374-1 treble courtesy of wins on Come On Jonny (14-1), Day To
Remember (4-1) and Mikao (4-1).
