Ex-Flat jockey Keith Dalgleish is planning to make a return to the saddle riding over jumps.
The 21-year-old Scot, who stands over six feet tall, quit riding in August because of his on-going battle with the scales.
"I know it's not going to be easy. It's a different discipline and I've no experience but I'm really looking forward to it," Dalgleish told the Racing Post.
Dalgleish must now apply to the Jockey Club for a jump jockey's licence.
As a Flat jockey, Dalgleish was regularly employed by one of the UK's leading trainers, Mark Johnston, for whom he had several big-race successes.
