New Hull signing 'like David Beckham'

Hull Stingrays coach Sylvain Cloutier has challenged his side to maintain their recent good form when they travel to Coventry and Dundee at the weekend.

The Rays have tasted success in their last two outings, with wins over Sheffield and Nottingham.

Cloutier told BBC Humberside: "We want to win our hockey games and it's going to be tough but we're playing well.

"We were 4-0 down in Dundee before we got off the bus last time and Coventry want revenge after we beat them 5-1."

The Stingrays will be without Great Britain international Lee Mitchell, who awaiting surgery to fix torn knee cartilage, but will have Ryan Lake available for both games.

Saturday's opponents Coventry currently lie fifth in the Elite League, two places above the Stingrays, while Dundee sit bottom of the table.

"Dundee have had a real tough opening to the season," said Cloutier. "They've made a few changes recently but it is a must-win game for us up there because we need to win that series against them.

"I know Coventry will be missing a few guys because of suspension but I played for them and I know their mindset.

"They won't want us to go in their twice and beat them, that's for sure."
