Banbridge and Cookstown earned wins in Sunday's Kirk Cup semi-finals while Lurgan and Ulster Elks progressed to the Ulster Women's Shield final. Greg Allen, Gareth Cuddy and Colin Donaldson scored for Cookstown in the 3-2 win over Instonians. Ross McCandless and Diarmuid Reay netted for Banbridge in their 2-1 win over Annadale. Lurgan defeated Lisgarvey on penalty strokes after the game ended 0-0 while the Elks beat Belfast Harlequins 5-0. Chloe McIlwaine notched the decisive penalty stroke as Lurgan won the shoot-out 2-0. French international Philippine Berly scored a hat-trick for the Elks while Suman Bala and Roxy Turner were also on target. The Kirk Cup decider will be played on Boxing Day at Lisnagarvey (1430 GMT).
