England coach Lee is focusing on the European championships in August

England could only draw 1-1 with Pakistan as they were beaten 2-0 in their three-match series. Iain Mackay netted his first goal for England as they took the lead in the final match of the series. But, in another tempestuous game, Syed Abbas Haider equalised before both teams failed to capitalise on chances to win the game. "Although it was our best result, it was our poorest play of all three matches," said England coach Jason Lee. "We've trained very hard this week and I think our tiredness showed out there, but the only games that matter to us this summer will be at the Europeans in August. "Over the course of the three matches, I think we've done a great job at sticking at it and our technical and tactical skills have seen some improvement." England lost the first match 2-1 and were beaten 3-2 in the second game. England slipped to defeat in the first of a three-match series against Pakistan, going down 2-1 in Cannock.
