England's Champions Challenge quest in Azerbaijan faltered with a 4-2 loss to Korea in the women's elite event.
England, who beat New Zealand 1-0 in their opener, took the lead through Crista Cullen after nine minutes, but Hye Jin Seo equalised a minute later.
Jung Hee Kim made it 2-1 on 12 minutes, and Eun Sil Kim found the net from a penalty corner on the half-hour.
Seul Ki Cheon killed the game off in the 67th minute, with England skipper Kate Walsh scoring a consolation goal.
Korea also beat the 2-0 on Saturday, with China defeating hosts Azerbaijan by the same margin.
Head coach Danny Kerry said: "It's somewhat ironic that our level of performance was much better today yet we lost.
"An excellent goal to take the lead was squandered by two errors and from that point on, Korea played counter-attacking hockey from deep.
"At least it provided an excellent opportunity for us to practice against this defence against a quality side."
Monday is rest day for all six teams, with England taking on the USA on Tuesday at 1145 BST.
