England's women's hockey team secured their second win at the Champions Challenge in Virginia Beach with a 3-2 win over the United States.
Kate Walsh put England ahead after just six minutes and Sally Walton almost doubled the lead when she hit a post.
Lucilla Wright made it 2-0 after the break only for mistakes to allow Carrie Lingo to reduce the deficit.
Tina Cullen restored the two-goal cushion on 56 minutes before the US scored again through Angie Loy.
Despite the victory, England coach Danny Kerry was still not entirely happy.
"We still failed to capitalise on the number of chances we created," he said.
"Teams are always going to be in the game unless we put them away. People
need to have a little bit more poise and need to think."
