England consolidated third place in the KT Cup with a 3-0 win over Ireland in South Korea on Sunday.
All the goals came in the second half, Cathy Gilliat-Smith's brace separated by a strike from Jo Ellis.
"We had to be patient and grind out the result," said England coach Danny Kelly. "Ireland went on the counter-attack but we managed them."
England's face Malaysia on Monday but Wednesday's game against the hosts is vital if they are to retain the cup.
