West Bridgford Tennis Club scooped a haul of six gold, two silver and two bronze medals in the National Learning Disability Tennis Event at the weekend.
Nottingham's Joseph Eccles, Alex Eustace and Leicestershire's Patrick Cox all took gold in their singles events at the Nottingham Tennis Centre.
Zara Jurenko won gold in the women's singles and doubles events.
Coach Lesley Whitehead said: "They all work very hard in training and I am very proud of all them."
Whitehead, who was also head tennis coach for last year's Special Olympics GB squad, said: "We are working towards to the 2009 Special Olympics National Summer Games, which are being held in the region, in Leicester."
Cox also won gold in the men's doubles.
Tom Styles, from Leicestershire, took silver in the men's singles just ahead of Michael Clarke who took bronze in the singles.
Katherine Ashcroft won silver in the singles and bronze in the doubles events.
