Britain's Lucy Shuker lost to world number four Sharon Walraven in the semi-finals of the Swiss Wheelchair Tennis Open in Geneva.
Seventh seed Shuker beat world number two Florence Gravellier of France for the first time in the quarter-finals.
But the Taunton player lost out 6-0 6-2 to the Dutch third seed in the last four although her ranking is sure to improve after her results this week.
Shuker also lost in the semi-finals of the women's doubles.
She and Belgian partner Annick Sevenans lost 6-2 7-5 to Korean pair Young-Suk Hong and Myung-Hee Hwang.
Meanwhile, David Phillipson won the men's main draw consolation singles.
The 18-year-old world number 31, who lost in the first round of the main draw, beat Lee Carter 3-6 6-4 6-2.
