Norfolk defends Japan Open title

Norfolk won Britain's first ever Paralympic medal at tennis
Peter Norfolk successfully defended his Quad Singles title at the Japan Open Wheelchair Tennis Championships in Iizuka on Saturday.

The Athens Paralympic gold medallist defeated second seed Sarah Hunter of Canada 6-2 6-2 in the final.

"I've really enjoyed the tournament and am very pleased that I have been able to defend my title convincingly," said a delighted Norfolk.

"My serve was accurate and consistent, and my strategies paid off."
