Tanni Grey Thompson will miss out on a special parade through London on Monday to celebrate the achievements of Britain's Olympic and Paralympic stars.
The Welsh wheelchair racer became Britain's most successful Paralympian after claiming two more titles in Athens to take her gold tally to 11.
But Grey Thompson is involved in a fundraising event for children in India on Monday so is unable to take part.
And she is also back in training, dismissing rumours she plans to retire.
But Danny Crates, James Anderson and Ade Adepitan are among the 37 Paralympic medallists confirmed so far for Monday's London procession.
Crates claimed the T46 800m title, while Anderson won four golds in the pool and Adepitan was part of the bronze-winning basketball team.
The five-float parade through central London starts on Piccadilly at 1330 BST and ends at Trafalgar Square at about 1515.

It will give all Athens medallists the chance to celebrate Britain's success

The route takes the Olympians towards Piccadilly Circus, down Haymarket, into Pall Mall East and then onto the north terrace of Trafalgar Square
Large screens in Trafalgar Square will show the parade, plus Games highlights.
Adepitan said: "Winning a medal on the world's greatest stage for a Paralympian - the Paralympic Games - is a dream come true.
"The Parade of the Heroes will not only celebrate the success of Paralympics GB.
"It will give all Athens medallists, Olympic and Paralympic, the chance to celebrate Britain's success in the streets of London, that will hopefully play host to the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012."
