Henry maintains her dominance
Swimmer Rhiannon Henry continued her success on the sixth day of the International Blind Sports Association Games in Quebec.

Henry claimed her fourth world title with victory in the B3 400m freestyle in a new British record time of four minutes 57.68 seconds.

Unfortunately Jemma Houghton missed out on a medal in the same race after finishing fourth, as did Darren Leach in the B2 400m freestyle.

Elaine Barrett, winner of three golds earlier in the competition, missed out on a chance to go for a fourth title after suffering an injury during her warm-up.

The goalball team lost 13-11 to China in their final round robin match and were eliminated from the competition.

It also means that the men's team will not qualify for next year's Athens Paralympics.

There was no luck either for the athletics team with Andy Curtis (B1 200m) and Kirsty Hunter (B1 100m) failing to progress while Heindrich Swanepoel finished fifth in the B2 javelin with 47.23m.
