British swimmer Elaine Barrett enjoyed double celebrations on day two of the International Blind Sports Association World Championships in Quebec.
The 26-year-old raced to gold in the B1 category of the women's 100m butterfly, setting a new world record of one minute, 19.96 seconds.
Barrett followed up that feat with another classy performance in the B1 200m breaststroke, where she clocked another world record of 3:11:8 to seize gold.
Rhiannon Henry continued to fulfil her potential as she set a new British record on her way to the B2 100m butterfly title.
Dervis Konuralp continued the British purple patch in the pool as he claimed double silver in the men's B3 100m butterfly and the 200m breaststroke.
Stephen Brown had already got the second day of competition in Canada off to a good start as he lifted the power lifting gold medal.
Brown claimed the 60 kilogram title with a world-record breaking total lift of 462.5kg.
Three-time Paralympic judo champion Simon Jackson settled for the silver medal in judo's 73kg division.
There was also some good news for the British men's goalball team who claimed a hard-fought 8-6 victory over Australia.
After going down 2-5 at half time, Britain were delighted to haul themselves back in to contention after losing their opening game to the USA.
In rainy conditions on the field, Neville Bonfield finished back in seventh position after reaching the B2 men's long jump final.
Bonfield is competing in his first major international championships and takes part in his favoured event, the high jump later this week.
