Taylor in hat-trick of victories

Taylor has now completed his third PDC Pro Tour double of the year

Phil Taylor added the UK Open South-East Regional final to the weekend events he has already won in Gibraltar and Germany this year.

The Newcastle-under-Lyme star followed up his Players Championship victory with another eye-catching display.

In a repeat of Saturday's final the world champion saw off Ledbury's Terry Jenkins 6-4 in the decider.

Taylor hit scores of 180 and 177 in a 12-darter to lead 5-4, and he sealed the win with another 12-dart finish.
