Adams & Nixon set for Dutch test

Adams held off Nixon's comeback to win the BDO world title
Lakeside champion Martin Adams and runner-up Phill Nixon head the field in the first Dutch Darts Premier League.

An eight-strong line-up of World Darts Federation players will be competing in four events ahead of a grand final for a total prize fund of 52,000.

Lakeside semi-finalist Niels de Ruiter and Co Stompe will be cheered on by the home fans in the Netherlands.

Also taking part are Scotland's Gary Anderson and the English trio of Darryl Fitton, Ted Hankey and Gary Robson.

The Dutch Darts Premier League will be played over five days at four different venues.

During the first four days of the tournament the participants will compete to reach the four-man grand final in Venray on 24 June.
