Phil Taylor stormed to victory in the final of the World Darts Trophy with a 7-2 thrashing of Martin Adams.
Taylor's display confirmed his status as the world's best
'The Power' lived up to his nickname with a dominant performance against fellow Englishman Adams in Utrecht.
'Wolfie' Adams played some decent darts by most standards but rarely posed any problems for his rampant opponent.
The England team captain never got closer than 4-2 down to Taylor as the Potteries ace averaged 34.08 per dart before an appreciative Dutch crowd.
The 13-time world champion takes home a cheque for £30,500.
