Phil Taylor avenged Raymond van Barneveld's comeback earlier in the season to beat his rival 8-6 in their Premier League showdown in Doncaster.
The Dutchman fought back from 7-4 down to draw with Taylor last month.
Taylor, the PDC world champion, extended his lead over Van Barneveld to six points to remain on course for a possible final showdown in Plymouth.
Earlier, Taylor beat Ronnie Baxter 8-5, Colin Lloyd saw off Roland Scholten 8-6 and Peter Manley beat Wayne Mardle 8-3.
Van Barneveld defected from the British Darts Organisation in January.
