McIntyre wins as Wiggins opts out

Jason McIntyre built on his success in the national 25-mile championships to become British Time Trial Champion.

Jonathan Dayus shared second place with Michael Hutchinson ahead of Stuart Dangerfield over three laps of an 11-mile circuit in Hampshire.

In the women's race, Rebecca Romero beat team-mate Wendy Houvenaghel and previous champion Julia Shaw.

Britain's Olympic pursuit champion Bradley Wiggins opted not to make his debut in the event.
