Ullrich is bidding for success in the Tour de France

German Jan Ullrich put in a superb performance in the final time trial to win the Tour of Switzerland.
Ullrich set a time of 31 minutes and 36 seconds on the final 25.6-km time trial around Lugano to win overall by just one second.
The T-Mobile rider was 41 seconds adrift of Saunier Duval's Swiss rider Fabian Jeker before the time trial, but made up the time in dramatic style.
He is using the event to prepare for next month's Tour de France.
