Bruylandts gets ban
Dave Bruylandts has been suspended from cycling for 18 months after testing positive for blood-boosting drug EPO.

The Belgian was sacked as team leader of Chocolat Jacques in July and will now have to sit out of all competition, according to the Belgian Cycling Union.

The 28-year-old's ban starts in October and comes with a fine of 4,500.

Bruylandts was sacked in March 2000 by Dutch team Farm-Frites for an abnormal haematocrite reading, which can be an indicator of taking EPO.
