Italian cyclist Massimiliano Mori is out of the Tirreno-Adriatico cycling race after breaking anti-doping rules.
The Formaggi Pinzolo team member tried to pass off a urine sample, supplied by the team's doctor, as his own to the race's medical inspectors.
Alessia's Italian rider Ruggero Marzoli
won Monday's fifth stage of the race.
The 26-year-old sprinted to victory ahead of Luca Paolini, Michael
Boogerd, Danilo di Luca, Oscar Freire and overall leader Paolo
Bettini.
Bettini, the defending World Cup champion, holds a one-second lead over second-placed compatriot Paolini.
And there was no repeat of the icy conditions which saw Sunday's stage abandoned.
Tuesday's penultimate sixth takes the riders from Teramo to
Torricella Sicura.
