Irish claim British title double
Ireland have won two of the four titles up for grabs at the Womens British Isles Championships in Leamington Spa.

Blackrock veteran Phyllis Nolan defeated Enys Davies of Wales 21-11 to take the singles crown on Friday.

Portstewart's Bernadette O'Neill and Margaret Campbell enjoyed a 17-7 victory over Wendy Morris and Jealian Willis of Wales in the pairs.

In the fours Phyllis Newton, Gwen McCormick, Betty Liddell and Wilma Russell were beaten 29-10 by England.
