Cricelli can play at both small forward and power forward
Plymouth Raiders have signed forward Sam Cricelli, bringing the number of new arrivals at the club to six.
The 25-year-old, who spent last season at Worthing Thunder, has recently made his senior England debut.
Raiders boss Gavin Love said: "Sam showed last year what a talent he is, with some fantastic performances.
"Over the last month of the season when the Thunder were making their push for the play-offs he averaged nearly 15 points and seven rebounds a game."
Love added: "Defensively he comes into his own," added Love. "He's tall, he has long arms, he's very quick, and he can guard anyone from shooting guards to power forwards, which gives me a lot of flexibility."
After graduating from university at Caldwell College in the United States last year, Cricelli returned to the UK where he subsequently joined Worthing.
