The 6ft 9in Mensah-Bonsu made little impact in Houston
British forward Pops Mensah-Bonsu has rejoined the NBA's Toronto Raptors after being released by Houston.
Londoner Mensah-Bonsu, 26, played only 12 minutes in four games for the Rockets, who he joined in the summer.
Mensah-Bonsu, who played 19 games in Toronto last term, opted for a return despite interest from the New Jersey Nets and an unnamed Russian club.
Injury-hit Toronto must decide by 20 December whether to keep Mensah-Bonsu until the end of the season.
If he fails to secure a long-term deal, for an amount close to the NBA minimum of $800,000 (£476,000), the forward could look to return to Europe in the new year to increase his playing time.
