Newcastle v Plymouth Raiders

Basketball

Plymouth Raiders will be hoping to get their season back on track with a win over the Newcastle Eagles on Friday.

The Raiders have only won once all season, and after two defeats last weekend, are now bottom of the league.

Raiders head coach Gary Stronach said: "We're disappointed with both results, but we can't feel sorry for ourselves."

The Raiders sole BBL victory came against the Eagles at the start of November, with Stronach's side winning 96-95 at the Pavilions.

The Eagles are currently third in the BBL standings, after securing seven wins from their 10 games so far.
