Lions retain veteran Youngblood

Basketball

Milton Keynes Lions have re-signed veteran forward Robert Youngblood.

The 40-year-old will be going into his sixth season with the Betchey-based club, who he helped to their first-ever title in 2008.

The 6ft 7in Youngblood averaged nine points and six rebounds for the Lions last term.

"He is very competitive and has a very high skill level. I think next season will be a statement year for him," said head coach Vince Macauley.
