South Birmingham Bears are out of the National Cup

South Birmingham Bears went out of the National Cup following their 82-52 defeat to UWIC Archers.
The Bears managed to keep the Division One side in their sights over a closely fought first two quarters and were only 36-30 down at half time.
But Archers dominated the third quarter to open up a decisive advantage and ran out comfortable winners in the fourth.
Gemz Salmon top scored for the Bears with 25 points while the player-of-the-match award went to Dawn Hall.
The Bears will now focus on their league campaign which continues at Taunton on Sunday 2 November.
