Everton Tigers have appointed Great Britain assistant coach Tony Garbelotto as their new head coach.
Garbelotto will take over from Henry Mooney who has been handed the role of head of basketball development.
Mooney told BBC Radio Merseyside he was delighted to have Garbelotto on board as the Tigers bid to build on reaching this season's BBL play-offs.
"I think its great we have got a coach of Tony's ability," said Mooney. "He'll be able to take the team forward."
He added: "I'm happy to hand over to Tony. He's a few years younger than me, he's a great guy on and off the court, he's the Great Britain assistant coach and he's got lots of experience."
Everton are also looking out for new players as they bid to mount a challenge for the BBL title next season.
We're always looking forward and planning ahead
And Mooney revealed that they have been looking for new talent for a little while now.
"We started that process before the end of the season," Mooney said.
"We're always looking forward and planning ahead. We sat down on Thursday for three or four hours looking at what we've got and what we'd like to bring in.
"Obviously, a number of the guys we have we want to keep, so we may only recruit three or four guys in.
"Hopefully that will take the team to the next level which will be to make the final four and hopefully win a trophy next year."
