The USA and Argentina claimed their second consecutive victories at the World Championships in Japan.

The USA overcame China 121-90 with NBA star Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat top-scoring on 26 points.
Argentina, the 2004 Olympic champions, had no problems beating Lebanon 107-72 with 22 points from Walter Herrmann.
But defending champions Serbia and Montenegro lost 65-61 to France while European champions Greece defeated Lithuania 81-76 after overtime.
Vassilis Spanoulis, who is set to join Chinese star Yao Ming at the Houston Rockets, led Greece with 15 points and sank four free throws in the last seconds to spoil Darius Songaila's 18 points for Lithuania.
"This team has discipline, confidence and desire," said Greece coach Panagiotis Yannakis. "My team has shown they can play against anyone."
Spain and Germany both maintained their unbeaten records in Group B with victories over Panama and New Zealand respectively.
Brazil bounced back from an opening Group C loss to Australia to defeat Qatar 97-66 while African champions Angola rallied to beat Japan 87-62 in Group B.
