Newcastle Eagles moved level on points with the Scottish Rocks at the top of the BBL Championship with an 85-75 away win over the Brighton Bears.
Dennis Rodman made his second appearance for the Bears with 23 rebounds in his 38 minutes on court.
The Eagles edged clear with an 18-4 run which moved them 41-30 ahead and they never lost the advantage after that.
Although the Bears cut the lead to 64-59, the Eagles hit the next 11 points and they eased to victory.
