Trailing 23-11 after the first quarter, the Riders seized the lead with a 16-2 run in the third quarter to lead 55-48.
Birmingham Bullets, who beat London Towers 88-69 behind 22 points from player-coach Skouson Harker, finished second to Riders in the Midland group.
They could still make the last four if the Scottish Rocks fail to win by 29 points or more on Tuesday at Teesside.
