The Brighton Bears have signed English forward Lijah Perkins, bringing him back to the BBL from Finland.
Perkins, who can also play at centre, was named player of the year in the Finish First Division, as he helped Forssan Koripojat to runners-up spot.
The 28-year-old averaged an impressive 19 points and 11 rebounds per game and shot 49 percent from the field.
The 6ft 7in Perkins featured for the Birmingham Bullets from 1995-98 before playing in Spain and Iceland.
Between 2001-03 he played for the Teesside Mohawks team that dominated EBL 1.
Bears head coach Nick Nurse, who coached Perkins at Birmingham, said: "Lijah is a great athlete. He's a rebounder, a shot blocker, he runs the floor well and he can finish at the basket."
