Chicago's Greg Maddux and Atlanta's Andruw Jones were among the winners in the National League's Gold Glove awards for excellence in fielding.
Maddux claimed his 15th Glove and needs one more to match Jim Kaat and Brooks Robinson for the most all-time.
The other winners were Derrek Lee (Cubs), Luis Castillo and Mike Lowell (Florida), and Omar Vizquel and Matt Matheny (San Francisco).
Jim Edmonds (St Louis) and Bobby Abre (Philadelphia) completed the list.
It was the eighth straight award for Atlanta's Jones, who committed just
two errors in 378 chances for a .995 fielding percentage.
At the plate, he led the major leagues with 51 homers and the NL with 128 RBI as Braves won their 14th consecutive division title.
Lee, who led the NL with a .335 batting average and ranked second with 46 homers, claimed his second career Gold Glove.
