Redditch Arrows get a vital win

Redditch Arrows made sure that last year's shock defeat to Staffordshire Surge was not repeated in a 60-0 win.

Running back Mike Singangwe, making his Arrows debut, touched down three times, and was the standout on the offence with 147 yards on 12 carries.

On defence Jim Mortimer, James Chattoe, Will Powell and Trevor Ballinger all recovered fumbles.

Arrows head coach Ian Hill said: "We've been looking for this kind of performance for some time.
