Brady leads Patriots to epic win
Tom Brady
Brady has broken the franchise record with 33 TD passes
Tom Brady helped New England Patriots overcome a 10-point deficit to beat Indianapolis Colts 24-20 in the battle between the NFL's two unbeaten teams.

The quarterback found Wes Welker and Kevin Faulk after Patriots had trailed 20-10 in the fourth quarter.

Minnesota's Adrian Peterson and San Diego's Antonio Cromartie made NFL history as the Vikings won 35-17.

Peterson rushed for an NFL record 296 yards while Cromartie ran for the longest play in history.

Rookie Peterson broke the record held by Jamal Lewis, who rushed 295 yards in September 2003 for Baltimore against Cleveland.

Cromartie's new record came in the first half when he returned a missed field goal 109 yards.

Meanwhile, Brady ended the Patriots' victory with 33 TD passes for the year so far, breaking the franchise record of 31 for an entire season with seven games remaining. The NFL record is Manning's 49, set in 2004.

The Patriots are still on course to join the 1972 Miami Dolphins as the only NFL team to go through a season unbeaten.

Their victory also ended the Colts' 12-game unbeaten run, stretching back to last season.

"It was a good win but we got a long way to go," said Patriots coach Bill Belichick.

"They (Colts) are tough and make you work for everything but I thought our guys stepped up and made some big plays, especially in the second half when we scored when we needed to."

Colts coach Tony Dungy said: "It's been a long time since I talked to you after a loss.

"We were up 10 points in the fourth quarter and they found a way to come back and win.

"They played with championship effort, championship big plays down the stretch and they made them and we did not."

In Kansas City, Brett Favre entered the record books as he passed for two touchdowns and 360 yards as Green Bay beat the Chiefs 33-22.

The victory saw Favre to become the third NFL quarterback to defeat all 31 league opponents.
