Denver running back Ron Dayne ran 55 yards in overtime to set up Jason Elam's winning field goal as the Broncos beat the Dallas Cowboys 24-21.
Playing in front of a packed house at Cowboys Stadium on Thanksgiving Day, the Broncos improved their season record to 9-2 as Dallas slipped to 7-4.
Dallas had tied the game at 21-21 when Drew Bledsoe hit tight end Jason Witten with a four-yard touchdown pass.
But they paid dearly when Billy Cundiff then missed a 38-yard field goal try.
In the day's other game, Michael Vick connected with tight end Alge Crumpler on a pair of touchdowns as the Atlanta Falcons beat the Detroit Lions 27-7.
