Sinndar achieved victories in two Derbys
Arc de Triomphe winner Sinndar has been retired to a stud farm in Ireland according to the colt's owner, the Aga Khan.

Sinndar, who also triumphed at the Epsom and Irish Derbys this year, defeated the favourite Montjeu to lift the prestigious French crown two weeks ago.

The John Oxx horse became the first Irish-trained winner of the Arc since Alleged's second triumph for Vincent O'Brien in 1978.

Sinndar also became the first horse to add the Arc victory to wins at the Epsom and Curragh Derbys.

The three-year old will be placed alongside Daylami and Darshaan at the Aga Khan's Gilltown Stud for the 2001 season.
