Roller captain happy at Boro win

Middlesbrough Roller Hockey Club
Middlesbrough have won the League Cup already this season

Middlesbrough Roller Hockey Club captain Michael Ableson has praised his side for a 10-3 win against Manchester in Saturday's Premier League game.

Boro led 7-1 at half time, and went on to complete an impressive victory in the second period, despite a mixed display from the home side.

"In previous seasons we have dropped points," Ableson said.

"However, it is testament to the ability of the team that we can not play our best and still win."

The Teessiders made a bright start to the season, winning the League Cup against Herne Bay United in September.
