Speller produced an impressive display to take the Channel Island titles

David Speller claimed three titles at the 2008 Earth, Wind & Water Channel Island Championships.
The 18-year-old won the Open division edging Phil Le Neveu into second and Simon Watkins came in third.
Winning the open section meant he also claimed the junior title and completed a great all-round effort by adding the drop-knee title too.
The competition, which was delayed from Boxing Day, took place with clean four-to-six foot waves at Petit Port reef.
Speller told BBC Radio Jersey: "I haven't surfed for a while, I'm really stoked I've done so well, especially against this tough competition."
And while the below-freezing temperatures tested competitors, conditions were not cold enough for the Annual Cold Water Classic.
That takes place in late February when sea temperatures fall into single digits.
