Ipswich hockey teams claim draws

Ipswich's mens and ladies teams both drew their final England Hockey League games before the winter break.

The ladies team had to settle for a 1-1 draw with Chelmsford in Saturday's Premier League game at Tuddenham Road.

The men fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2, also against Chelmsford, on Sunday.

Goals from Ed Driver and Ivan Smith earned Ipswich a valuable away point, leaving them third from bottom in the Conference East table.
