Worcester to stage international

Basketball and hoop
International basketball comes to Worcester in January

The University of Worcester is to host the women's basketball international between England and Finland.

The match will be England's final home game in EuroBasket Division A and is to be staged on Tuesday 13 January.

England women's head coach Mark Clark said: ""Worcester is a city with strong basketball ties so we are excited to be heading there in January.

"Come the New Year, we hope to show everyone just how good this team can be."
