Ireland collected the wooden spoon at the Women's Bowls Home Internationals after losing 134-107 against Wales.
After hammerings by England and Scotland, Ireland gave a better account of themselves and the score was 39 each after six ends.
However Wales pulled away over the remaining fifteen ends and Ireland ended up winning on only one rink.
Dessa Baird claimed Ireland's face saving win with a 32-9 success over Maureen Williams.
Baird, along with Maureen Robinson, Norma Marshall and Alice Elliot, led from the opening end and their victory gave Ireland their only rink win in the series.
Jennifer Dowds' rink lost 27-21 to Betty Morgan's, Vera McCourt's team were beaten 23-15 while Ann McKenna's rink lost 23-14 to Stella Oliver.
Breige Donnelly lost 23-12 to Kelly Packwood and Olive Paisley never recovered from a bad start that saw her trail 18-1 after only eight ends and she lost 29-13.
Scotland regained the title they last won in 2004 when they beat England 122-93.
