Great Britain captured two medals at the first qualifying event for this year's archery World Cup in Ulsan.

The men's compound team of Chris White, Neil Wakelin and Liam Grimwood took silver in their event after losing to Iran in the gold medal shoot-off.

Alison Williamson, Naomi Folkard and Charlotte Burgess took the bronze in the women's recurve tournament, beating France after losing to winners Korea.

Nicky Hunt was one of five team members to win points in individual events.

Hunt, taking part in her first World Cup event, earned a shock victory over fourth seed Camilla Soemod and went on to finish 12th overall to pick up five points.

Andy Rikuenenko collected eight points and Grimwood one point after finishing ninth and 16th respectively in the men's compound.

Alan Wills was Britain's best finisher in the men's recurve - collecting seven points for ending up in 10th place.

While Folkdard finished 15th in the women's recurve to land two points after beating team-mate Williamson in the previous round to reach the last 16.

The Ulsan event is the first of four qualifying legs, one of which is in Dover in July, with a Grand Final in Dubai later in the year.
