Sheffield Steelers brushed Belfast Giants aside 5-1 to extend their lead in the Elite League table.
Ben Bliss' opener was followed by strikes in rapid succession from Kevin Bolibruck and Marc Dutiame as the Steelers dominated possession.
The Giants found the net through Jason Ruff 90 seconds after the break, but any hope of a comeback was short-lived after Dutiame scored his second.
The Steelers sealed the win with a final goal from Joel Irving.
The London Racers fell to a disappointing 4-3 home defeat at the hands of the Basingstoke Bison.
Mojmir Musil opened the scoring for London after nine minutes, but Joe Ciccarello equalised for Basingstoke before the first break.
In the second period, the Racers opened up a two-goal lead, with both Marc Long and Jani Tuominen finding the net, but the Bison responded with goals from Steve Moria and Darren Hurley.
And with two minutes remaining Moria sealed the game for Basingstoke with his second goal.
