Elite League leaders Belfast Giants continued their fine form with a comprehensive victory over London Racers on Tuesday night.
The Belfast outfit stormed into a four-goal lead inside the opening 10 minutes at the Odyssey Arena.
Brad Kenny and Paul Sample both scored in the second minute of the game, followed by goals from Jason Ruff (3.37) and Colin Ward (9.20).
London got one back at 16:07 with Kalle Konsti scoring to leave the score 4-1 at the end of the first period.
Shane Johnson made it 5-1 with 34:06 on the clock but as soon as the game restarted Paxton Schulte was dismissed for the rest of the game for smashing Mike McKinnon into the
boards.
Konsti netted again on 45.21 and completed his hat-trick 13 seconds from the end, but in between Leigh Jamieson scored Belfast's sixth goal of the night to secure a comfortable victory.
The Racers are bottom of the Elite League with no points having lost all 13 fixtures this season.
