Reinking has been a favourite with the Sharks fans
New Sheffield Sharks coach Peter Scantlebury has persuaded star guard Nate Reinking to remain at the club next season.
The 6ft 3in guard, who joined the Sharks in 1999, is one of the club's most experienced players.
Last season he averaged 36 minutes and 17 points a game and was also fourth in the league in three-point shooting.
Scantlebury, who has taken over from Chris Finch, is delighted the 29-year-old Reinking will link up with the club again.
"I am really pleased to have Nate back for next season, he is a critical signing for the squad," said Scantlebury.
"This is a player who is a great professional and with his experience not only at the Sharks, but in this league his contribution will be invaluable."
Reinking is in the United States for the summer break.
"It is great to know I will be back in Sheffield," Reinking said.
"It has become my home over the years and I have had great players to work with, but I am looking forward to playing for Pete and I am certain we can build on our success."
