South Korea show strength
Bodybuilders in action at the Asian Games
Bodybuilding is making its debut at the Asian Games
South Koreans Cho Wang-bung and Han Dong-ki won the first ever gold medals in bodybuilding on day seven of the Asian Games.

The pair won the 60kg and 70kg categories respectively and in the process pushed South Korea above Japan up to second in the medals table in Busan.

Vietnam's Duc Ly won the 80kg division while Tariq Alfarsani triumphed at 90kg to give Bahrain its first gold of the games.

It was a good day for South Korea, who also picked up three shooting golds and one in gymnastics to make 28 gold medals in total so far.

China are way out in front on 81, their main haul on Saturday coming in gymnastics, where they won six golds.

Li Xiaopeng and Huang Xu tied at 9.800 on the parallel bars and Li also won the vault, ahead of all-around gold winner, Yang Wei of China.

On the horizontal bar, a late change in the judges' scores lifted China's Teng Haibin into a gold-medal tie with Japan's Hiroyuki Tomita and Yang Tae-seok.

China's Kang Xin won on the balance beam and Zhang Nan was the winner in the floor exercises.

Japan also picked up a gold in gymnastics and another when cyclists Yuichiro Kamiyama, Harutomo Watanabe and Takashi Kaneko won the men's team sprint in 1 minute, 00.927 seconds.

Japan also reached the softball final, thrashing Taiwan 10-0 in a game shortened to six innings because of the 10-run margin.

China beat South Korea to take the team gold medal in men's table tennis.

Further gold medals for China came in billiards, cycling and shooting, where the women's double trap team won.

South Korea's golden treble came courtesy of Lee Sang-hee in the women's double trap individual event and the men's prone rifle and double trap teams.

Taiwan's Chen Shih-wei won the men's individual double trap title in a shoot-off after he tied with compatriot Shih Wei-tin and South Korea's Jung Yoon-kyun at 187.

Kazakstan's Sergey Belyaev beat Turkmenistan's Igor Pirekeev 10.7-10.4 in a shoot-off for the gold in the men's 50m prone rifle event.

The sepak takraw gold medal matches will be between Malaysia and South Korea in the men's event and Thailand and Vietnam in the women's.
