Panthers tamed again
![]() The Panthers take on the Bees on Thursday
By BBC Sport Online's Stuart Hughes
Bracknell Bees 3 - 2 Nottingham Panthers The Nottingham Panthers failed to lift themselves off the bottom of the Sekonda Superleague on Thursday night as they fell to their 16th loss in 20 games. The Panthers had a scare early in the game when the puck hit former NHL defenceman Jimmy Paek. Moments later the Bees took the lead when Dan Ceman scored on the power play. Nottingham forward Graham Garden earned himself a match penalty in the 16th minute for slashing Bracknell defenceman Mark Matier's legs. Bracknell failed to capitalise on the power play but doubled their lead at 27:21 when Joe Ciccarello scored short-handed. Chris Brant added a third for the Bees just over three minutes later, after which Eoin McInerney replaced Jordan Willis between the pipes for Nottingham. David Struch struck back for the Panthers before the end of the second period to draw level with PC Drouin as Nottingham's leading goalscorer - and with 24 seconds left in the game, Robert Nordmark put Nottingham's second past Brian Greer.
